There are so many people who have even put up video recipes so the viewer with a passion for cooking can have a more hands on experience. You can also find all kinds of ground beef recipes, pasta recipes and even appetizer and desert recipes on so many sites.
Look for a portal that provides free recipes because you really shouldn't have to pay for a good recipe. There are a number of free online websites that make their money not by selling the recipes but actually from the sponsors that come because of the increased traffic. But why would a recipe site have more traffic? Because it has good recipes! The more people love a recipe the more they keep coming back for more. There are also many sites which will provide you a recipe if you will ask for it which is even more interesting. A lot of people go some place for a vacation, to a foreign land and they are served some food that they cannot get back at home. Recipe portals are great to find those exotic foreign recipes too and you can easily cook them at home by getting the right ingredients. But in foreign recipes it is important not to make substitutions and take the recipe as it is.
Try out the recipe on your own first before allowing guests or friends to taste it. Cook the recipe from a small amount of ingredients and see if it really tastes the way it should. If not you can always tweak the recipe a bit or find another recipe completely. You should also check out the comments left by other people below the recipes that you enjoy. There are so many people who try those recipes and they will comment about how their experience was. If they have provided any helpful suggestions or tips you should heed them since they have tried it already. You should also leave your own comments and suggestions about the recipe once you have tried it to help out other people who try out the same recipes. If there are any tips that you want to leave for them you will be doing a great service in return for a free recipe.
If you are looking for BBQ chicken recipes you can find a whole variety of multicultural recipes online and you will be amazed at how much those recipes can be adapted to your own style of cooking.
Discover The Truth About Top Secret Restaurant Recipes
Going out to eat at your favorite restaurant is always enjoyable by most. But what if you had access to the top secret restaurant recipes that these popular restaurants guard so heavily? Would you go home and cook these yourself any time you want?
Learning how to cook top secret restaurant recipes is not really that difficult. Some think that you need a culinary arts degree or cooking education to be able to cook these secret recipes. I hate to tell you this but anyone can gather the ingredients themselves and cook themselves a fancy meal that tastes just like the real thing.
But do top secret restaurant recipes really taste like they were cooked in the restaurant? Possibly. With a little practice and patience, you can easily cook your favorite recipes.
Another advantage to cooking your own top secret recipes is that you can add your own flavors and spices to your creations. You would probably want to cook the basic formula and after awhile, start adding what you think would make the recipe taste better. You would probably start to figure that some recipes might need a little more herbs or peppers to make the dish better than the original!
Cooking top secret restaurant recipes will also make your friends and family wondering where you learned to cook so well. Imagine being able to cook an entire meal that looks like it was takeout food from the restaurant. I bet some of your friends won't even believe that you cooked it!
I've heard that some people look at top secret recipes and immediately get intimidated by long list of ingredients. Taking that initial step and just trying it out will help soothe your cooking nerves. Again, with a little practice, anyone can be a natural Wolfgang Puck.
Is it possible to get access to top secret restaurant recipes? Yes, it is very possible. There are plenty of books out there that have copycat recipes of the famous top secret recipes. One popular book is America's Most Wanted Recipes.
America's Most Wanted Recipes has over 700 secret restaurant recipes. These recipes are the most highly demanded and popular recipes from America's most famous restaurants. These restaurants include: TGI Fridays, Red Lobster, Chili's and many more. I've personally enjoyed many recipes that I have cooked for my family and friends.
Simple Tips to Organize Your Recipes
You sit down to plan the menu for the week and get ready for another trip to the grocery store. There was that recipe you made a couple weeks ago that everyone loved, where is it? You dig through handwritten papers, torn out magazine pages, and tattered index cards. Stop and read a card you're you remember now you were dying to try 6 months back. Somehow when it came to your home filing system you just never got to the kitchen. Now is the time to take action and get all those recipes organized!
Paper Recipes: As I'm sure you have found printed recipes come in many shapes and sizes. In order to begin your recipe home filing system collect all your recipes together in one place. You will then begin by sorting them into categories. For example: vegetables, appetizers, main course, and desserts. You can either choose your categories before hand, perhaps with the help of a cookbook, or choose them as you begin to sort. It's possible your categories will become obvious while you sort as everyone's recipe collections are a little different. Some categories may become very large, if this happens consider breaking them into subcategories. Main courses could be broken into Hot and Cold, or Vegetarian and Meat.
Alphabetize your recipes within each category once you have them sorted.
While you're sorting have you been coming across recipes that no one liked, you never made, or are something you've found a better recipe for? Now is the time to purge your collection. Don't put back recipes you aren't going to use again now that you have everything spread out. Recipes you didn't like can just go into the recycling. If it is a recipe you still want to try I would suggest one of two options. You could admit you aren't really going to try it and recycle it, or you can create a "recipes to try" category in your home filing system. This category is great when you are looking for something different or exciting! Then when you finally try them for the first time you can either file them into one of categories you created or recycle them!
Storing Paper Recipes: If you have varying size pages a standard recipe box probably isn't your best choice for storage, and now that you have your recipes sorted and alphabetized you'll want just the right container. The good news is there are several economic choices for new containers to start your home filing system.
A simple notebook can be used. Staple or tape your recipes to the pages and then use the space around them to make notes about them as you try them. Make sure to leave blank pages in each category so you can add additional recipes. Tuck any size recipe behind a tab in an accordion file. A three ring binder or photo album are both excellent options. They both allow flexibility for sizes of recipes, and give you the ability to add in pages where you need them as your collection grows and changes. They will easily stay open while you cook, and can be easily cleaned off if you spill food on your recipe.
Electronic Recipes: Keeping our recipes on computers as oppose to on paper is becoming more and more common. When starting a home filing system for your electronic recipes you have two choices. Are you going to store them on your computer or online?
You can follow a similar layout to your paper recipes by creating categories with folders on your computer.
Storing your recipes in this way on your computer you have the benefit of making your recipes entirely portable. If you have your computer with you, you can access all of your recipes, no internet connection needed. They also sell software that will help you organize on your computer, the benefit of many of these is they can produce grocery lists or help with meal planning. Keep in mind if you are in transition from paper to electronic scanning is a good option to move your paper recipes without having to retype everything.
There are a number of different formats that you can use to store your recipes online. The benefit is many of these programs also can help generate meal ideas and grocery lists. Also you don't need your computer in order to access your recipes, all you need is an internet connection.
Regardless whether you choose to go with paper recipes or electronic recipes don't underrate the effect of organizing the portion of your home filing system. Think of the daily frustration that could be eliminated by organizing getting your recipes. Take the time to organize today!
Cooking for a Crowd? Need Large Quantity Recipes? Why Not Create Your Own?
It is often hard to find just the right large quantity recipe for the theme of your party or for the "culinary experience" you are aspiring to offer your guests. Here are a few tips and suggestions on how to modify your favorite 4-6 serving recipes when you find yourself cooking for a crowd of 20 or more.
What constitutes a crowd? Of course it's all relative (your relatives, not mine). Seriously, if you are accustomed to cooking for one to three, cooking for 20-50 people may seem overwhelming. When cooking for a crowd, there are three important considerations; adequate cookware, sufficient refrigerator space and recipe selection.
Obviously you should seek out recipes geared towards feeding a crowd. It is often easy to find large quantity recipes for basic dishes such as lasagna and mashed potatoes. But what do you do if you have your heart set on using your favorite 4-serving recipe for Corn and Black Bean Polenta for a party of 25?
Even for expert cooks, modifying a recipe for large quantity cooking is not just a matter of endless multiplications. If you expand a recipe too much--you are bound to run into trouble and end up with an off tasting or a poorly flavored dish.
For a basic dish like mashed potatoes, it would be acceptable to multiply all of the ingredients in a 4-serving recipe by two, thus doubling the recipe to serve 8. However, recipes are not indefinitely expandable (or shrinkable for that matter) and enlarging a recipe any more then 2-4 times is not
recommended.
You may also use recipe converters which are easily found online. The converters however, simply "do the math", multiplying each ingredient amount by the increased number of servings you enter into the converter. It does not take into account, for example, the pungency or texture of the ingredients. If a 4-serving recipe calls for 1 tablespoon of finely chopped rosemary and you want to triple the recipe to serve 12; 3 tablespoons of rosemary will probably overwhelm all the other flavors and seasonings in the dish.
It is a good idea to be cautious when multiplying ingredients like salt, flour, cornstarch, eggs, seafood, meats, robust herbs, oils, onions, garlic, celery and peppers. Some ingredients will impart enough flavor, texture or body when only increased a fraction. In addition some of these ingredients can be added a little at a time as you continually check for taste.
What if you want to serve 25 people with a not-so-simple, 4-serving recipe with numerous ingredients? Doubling or tripling more complex recipes could get complicated. One trick is to batch cook. Batch cooking requires planning ahead and cooking in advance. It may also mean freezing prepared dishes. It is also a matter of "doing the math".
To serve 25 with a 4-serving recipe, you can cook 5-6 individual batches of that recipe or, you can expand the recipe (no more then 2-4 times) and cook in batches accordingly. For example, to serve 25 from a 4-serving recipe, double the recipe to 8 and cook three batches or, triple it and cook two batches. To serve 18 with a 6-serving recipe, cook it three times or cook one 6-serving batch and one batch that has been doubled to serve 12. You get the idea.
It is almost impossible to double or triple recipe ingredients for cakes, cookies, pie dough, or breads, without meeting with utter disaster. It's a chemistry thing. Instead, prepare a single batch repeatedly until you have enough food to feed your guests. Again, cooking in advance is the key.
Chances are you can successfully double or triple the ingredients of recipes for individual appetizers, such as stuffed mushrooms or crostini; and for snack mixes, dips, salsas, punches, one serving-size pieces of meat, poultry or fish, tossed salads, pasta salads and vegetables dishes.
If you are cooking for a crowd of 25 or more you will most likely serve buffet style. It is the best way to serve larger crowds. On a buffet of numerous dishes, people will take smaller portions of each in order to sample everything. Also, not everyone will sample every dish. This means that every dish
you prepare need not serve 25. You need only prepare a few large quantity dishes. Look for recipes that serve 8-12 and double them (or not).
With a calculator and a little ingredient know-how you can comfortably convert most of your party food recipes and present a tantalizing menu to your
guests.
Have fun!

Finding Good Organic Food Recipes
If you're trying to learn to eat organic, the odds are that you're trying to learn to eat healthier. Once you've made the move to organics, you're ready to proceed to improving the way you prepare food. You don't want to simply eat foods with healthy ingredients; you want to eat food that tastes great. What you need to do is learn all you can about finding good organic food recipes.
Obviously, the first place you go when you're looking for a new recipe is the Internet. People are continuously posting a variety of recipes on the Internet. Of course, only a small percentage of these recipes take full advantage of the benefits of using organic food ingredients. You'll want to practice searching the Internet for specific types of organic food recipes. It is a good idea to start with very specific components you want to be included in the recipe and make your search more general only as necessary.
Even when listing a wide variety of ingredients and important keywords that the search results must contain, you're likely to get a wide array of results from your search. It may be helpful to learn where health food recipe sites are and to become familiar with them. Some online organic recipe forums may also be helpful. You can start your searches in these locations, only moving to the broader web when necessary. Forums are particularly useful, as you can ask for specific advice and recipe ideas from others of similar organic food recipe interests.
Don't forget the very establishments that sell you your foods which are organic. Many organic grocers and health food stores offer recipes as incentives to keep you buying their specialty products. This isn't just true of the places where you actually purchase organic foods, it is also true of thousands of health food retailer websites and organic foods producer sites.
The Internet is the only place where it is beneficial to discuss organic recipes. If you have friends in your networks that try to eat healthy, you may be surprised to find out that many of them have their own favorite organic recipes. It can actually be a lot of fun to start your own organic recipes book and to exchange recipes with other people doing the same thing. In larger cities around the country, there are already health enthusiasts with established health food recipe exchanges.
Of course, you can also buy recipe books with organic recipes. Many people still prefer having a book to thumb through for pictorial ideas about what foods to prepare. More and more organic food recipe books are hitting the market. This may be a particularly useful place to start your transition to organic food preparation.
If you have a large bookstore nearby, you may be able to find one or two recipes books which include organic recipes..In some cases you may even find such a book at a small bookstore. But, in most cases you'll either need to shop online for organic recipe books or buy them from health food stores or food supplement stores. The odds are that you'll find the best price on each book online, but you probably don't want to buy an organic food recipe book without looking through it first. To be honest, many recipe books have bad recipes in them. You'd be better off trying the wide variety of free organic recipes available online than purchasing an organic food recipe book at random.
As you can see, there are plenty of ways to go about finding good organic recipes. So it shouldn't be much of a challenge for you to find the organic food recipes you need to eat healthy food that tastes great. Go with the method that is most comfortable to you. If you're good with the Internet or forums, these are great resources. If you're a bookworm, buy an organic food recipes book. If you thrive on social interaction, seek out new friends with mutual health and food interests. Above all, enjoy finding good organic food recipes.

Cake Recipes - What Are the Best Cake Recipes in the World?
This text will continue the topic of cakes and cake recipes. In my last two articles I have written about the best cake recipes in Poland. This time I will give you some examples of the best cake recipes from the world. As always I will be writing about cakes that are cheap, tasty and easy to prepare. So read this text to the end and I'm sure that you will like the information included in it.
The first cake that I would like to present comes from Germany. It's chocolate cake that is very tasty. A lot of people adore this cake. The German chocolate cake recipe includes cocoa, hot water, butter or margarine, sugar, eggs, flour, soda, buttermilk or clabber. It's very special, because it tastes like chocolate, but you don't add chocolate to it. You can also add some additions like caramel and other things. As you can see the ingredients are also very cheap and the cake is also very easy to prepare.
The next cake is very popular in the world (especially in Europe). It's French cake. There are lots of French cake recipes. There are lots of opinions that French cake is difficult to prepare. In fact it only takes a lot of time to prepare because you have to wait for 12 hours, but the process is very easy. I think that French cake is a good dessert. Here you can find ingredients that are included in all French cake recipes. These ingredients are cold water, salt, butter and flour. They are also very cheap. In my opinion you should try to prepare this cake. I recommend it.
The next cake recipe that I would like to describe comes from Spain. It's called very simple - Spanish cake. It's very cheap cake and you can prepare it very fast. It's worth it, because its taste is fantastic. You can prepare Spanish cake by using such ingredients as eggs, flour, sugar, baking powder and vinegar. You also have to make a special flock (some kind of cream). You don't need expensive ingredients for flock. You need milk, butter, eggs, tidbits, nuts, chocolate, coffee and spirit. The cake is tasty and there are many different Spanish cake recipes, so you can use other ingredients than these presented in this article.

Make Money Writing Recipes
Could you make some money by writing recipes?
You don't need me to tell you that top TV chefs like Jamie Oliver and Delia Smith have made MILLIONS from selling their recipes. Delia is in fact the UK's best selling cookery author having sold 21 million books... imagine if you had a pound or two from each of those!
What you might not know is that Delia Smith started out as a humble recipe writer. Her first piece featured kipper pâté, beef in beer and cheesecake - an exotic dish back in the 60s! So how could you follow in the footsteps of the famous cookery writers and make some money from selling your recipes?
There are a LOT of recipes out there. So you need to be quite smart if you want to sell them. Here are a few tips:
* Your recipe ideas need to be original. Never try and sell recipes that you've read in another book. Traditional old family recipes are great for selling - as long as they are original. Or recipes you've found when on holiday abroad.
Recipes that are tasty-but-cheap are also in big demand right now.
* A clever idea is to take an existing recipe and give a unique twist and so make it your own. For example, take a classic recipe and convert it into a healthier, low fat one that is just as good. Or make it suitable for those with a food intolerance.
* Before you try selling anything, try and have a range of related recipes so that if one sells you have others ready and waiting to offer. Recipes for entire meals (or dinner parties) are also a good idea.
* Research your recipe clearly. We've all tried recipes from magazines and so on that the writer has obviously never made. They usually turn out to be a disaster. So make sure you ACTUALLY try your recipes for family meals and so on to make sure they work.
* Make your recipe sound interesting. Create a story behind it that will help with selling. For example, my children wouldn't touch fruit... until I created this recipe for them... now they love it!
So then, how could you make money from recipes:
* Women's magazines. Need lots and lots of recipes. For example, Good To Know pays £25 for any recipes they use. Details here: http://www.goodtoknow.co.uk/recipes/471694/Share-your-recipes-with-Cake-corner
* Book publishers. Sometimes buy recipes for collections.
* Sell on eBay. Create a collection of recipes and try selling them using eBay classified ads. It's easy and cheap. (To do this you'll need to pop your recipes on a CD to sell them.)
* Classified ads. in magazines. If you try this be sure to create recipes which will appeal to the type of people who read the magazine.
* Publish your own eBook.
* Sell it to food product manufacturers. Many manufacturers print recipe ideas on their product packaging and are often short of new ideas as all the old favourites have been used up. (Make sure that their brand is actually used in the recipe though!)
One last thing, you can also send recipes in to COMPETITIONS to win prizes instead of a fixed fee. Hormel
Foods who produce the famous Spam have an annual Cook of the Year competition.
Looking For Copy Cat Restaurant Recipes
When you want to enthrall your guests, family and friends with stunning meals for your next dinner party, what you should do is look for copy cat restaurant recipes. This will give you the best tasting food around, so that you can easily impress everyone you know.
When you have lots of parties and want to give your guests wonderful food then you should look for these recipes online. There are tons of websites that are designed to offer you step by step instructions for some of the best recipes from restaurants all over the world.
If you have a specific meal in mind or you just love a certain item on the menu of your favorite restaurant you can easily copy this and make your party a success. These recipes are not always complicated either. You don't have to be a good chef or cook to follow them and make them work.
You can even add your own spin on them if you are feeling confident enough. When you are looking for these copy cat recipes you should start by looking online. You should have a certain meal in mind from a restaurant and then look for that one. You can of course just randomly choose a recipe that you come across on these restaurant recipes websites.
All of them are guaranteed to be a hit with your guests and all you have to do to make sure that everything comes out right is to follow the recipes exactly. You can use all different websites for finding these recipes, but you can also have a look at certain ebooks and other sources.
Most of the restaurant recipes can also be used if you want to start a catering company. Some of the recipes are perfect for large numbers of people which means that you can offer to do weddings and birthday parties.
There are lots of places that you can use these recipes and you can easily learn your favorite recipes and change them a little to suit your style. With these recipes you can create your own restaurant as well. You just have to make sure that if you do this you don't use the recipes as they are. You want to make sure that they are different and unique, but you can use your favorite recipes as a base for making your own ones.
There are many reasons that you can think of to find these copy cat restaurant recipes and they are not that hard to find either. All you need to do is use the search engines to search for copy cat recipes and you will find a huge number of websites that you can use to help you find the perfect ones to make your party, catering company, or restaurant a success.
Now, you might be worried about using someone else's recipes, but this is why you should change them a bit. You don't have to be a genius at cooking to do this. It can be something very simple, but you can also use the recipes as they are if you just want to create a top quality meal for private use.
Electronic Recipe Keeper - The Perfect Way To Keep Track Of Your Recipes
If you are someone that loves to cook your own meals, then having an electronic recipe keeper may be the ideal tool for you. The problem that many individuals have when it comes to recipes is improper organization. What typically happens when you see an interesting recipe that you'd like to save and try out at some future date? You grab the closest piece of paper and quickly jot it down. You then stick it on your refrigerator or place it on the countertop telling yourself that the first chance you get, you'll put in your recipe box or favorite cookbook. But then what happens? It gets lost or misplaced, and you never get the chance to try it out.
Another scenario popular among at-home chefs is trying to save your favorite recipes. It may even be a family recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation. The way these recipes are usually stored is to be written down on 3" X 5" index cards and placed in an index card storage box. Or they may be written down in a blank recipe book. This is better than having them written on loose pieces of paper, but there are also some major flaws with this method. First, the recipe box or book can get lost. This is especially true after moving from one residence to the next. Also, a recipe box or book can be destroyed due to fire or water. And once it's gone, it's gone forever. But there is another method of safe-guarding your recipes for the long term: an electronic recipe keeper.
And when I say "electronic recipe keeper", I am not referring to the cheap, poor quality ones that you can buy for a few bucks. Those are like the personal organizers that were popular a few years back. Modern electronic recipe keepers are far superior. One major difference from the previous versions (and the main benefit over recipe boxes and books) is the ability to store a back up copy of all of your recipes online. So even if your electronic recipe keeper were to get destroyed or stolen, all of your recipes would still be safe. Sure, you'd have to purchase a new electronic recipe keeper, but you'd have access to all of your beloved recipes.
But having all of your recipes backed up isn't the only benefit. These recipe keepers generally have enough memory to save thousands of your recipes (and for most people, that is more than enough storage). The higher quality electronic recipe keepers have a large touch screen and are incredibly easy to use. Finding your desired recipe is simple. You can either look it up by category, or you can search for specific ingredients. It's also quite easy to add new recipes. Just go online, fill out a few forms, and hit the upload button. That's it.
If you are someone that enjoys cooking, then you definitely consider getting an electronic recipe keeper. Why rely on antiquated methods like recipe boxes and recipes books when technology provides a superior way to protect, save and organize all of your recipes.
Electronic Recipe Organizer - All Of Your Recipes At Your Fingertips
The electronic recipe organizer is a godsend to the millions of people that love to cook. The average person does a horrible job keeping track of and organizing their recipes. Most people either have one (or many) recipe books that they had write those recipes that they like to save, or they jot down the recipes on 3.5" by 5" index cards and keep them in recipe boxes. As far as a long-term solution, these two methods are very inefficient. Organization is very difficult to maintain and there's always the possibility of losing the recipes. An electronic recipe organizer is by far the best way to effectively manage and safeguard all of your favorite recipes.
The cliche "having it at your fingertips" is very common in the digital age. Manufacturers of all types of products claim to provide this kind of convenience. But with an electronic recipe organizer, this cliche is a fact. About the size of a paperback novel, the typical version of this recipe organizer can provide you with ability to store thousands of your recipes. They are made to sit on your countertop, and have a clear plastic covering to make the occasional cleaning easy. Since it usually sits right next to the stove, it will get food spilled on it. But this is fine because the plastic cover protects it. Just wipe it down with warm damp cloth if this happens.
From the main screen, you can easily browse through the electronic recipe organizer and quickly find your desired recipe. The navigational buttons are incredibly easy to understand and even the most "non-technical" person should have no problem operating it. The designers of this type of product did this for a reason: most people using an electronic recipe organizer are not IT people. They are just mothers, grandmothers, and other people who love to cook and who may not have much experience operating electronic products. Ease of use is key.
How are the recipes loaded onto the electronic recipe organizer?
This is a common question among people thinking about purchasing these amazing tools. The reality is that adding recipes is also easy. All a person needs to do is go to a specific website, fill out a simple form with the recipe details, and hit the submit button. In an instant, the recipe is transferred to the electronic recipe organizer. But not only that, a copy of the recipe is also saved online. So if anything should ever happen to the organizer itself (whether it is lost, stolen, or destroyed), all of the recipes will be saved because a backup copy of all of them will still be online.
If you needed to find your favorite recipe, would you find it faster by going through your collection of recipe books, or by scrolling through your electronic recipe organizer? The latter, of course. It takes literally seconds to locate any of your recipes using an electronic recipe organizer. And this is among potentially thousands of recipes. If you are looking for the ideal way to store and manage the many recipes that you have, you can't go wrong with one of these convenient solutions.
Bread Maker Recipes That Are Easy to Make
Bread is a universal diet and it is eaten almost in all countries. Even the countries where bread was not so much popular have now become popular, but, of course, with a different name and variety. Now the arrival of the breadmaker and special bread recipes have proliferated bread so much so that it is understood that bread have so many recipes even more than bread maker recipes are in the market. The reason is that several bread maker recipes have not reached the market and are still used at homes.
Now several chefs are engaged in discovering new recipes for their bread maker recipes lists. Even bread maker recipes are available in the market in the shape of a booklet and on internet with a wide list of bread maker recipes. However, human bread makers have discovered several recipes for making, preparing and baking breads. In fact, it depends, first of all, on the society and then on the environment.
For example, in the eastern society, bread making, and breadmaker recipes are fields solely reserved for females of the family and males know nothing about cooking or bread except eating. However, in case of hotels, it is somewhat different, for chefs and machine bread makers, and bread maker recipes have special hold in hotels. But, the case of western society is entirely different. With the proliferation of specialization in every field, bread making and bread maker recipes have become fields to be reckoned with. Several bread makers have discovered several different recipes and have become popular solely on account of their recipes. Same is the case with bread making and also with bread maker recipes. You are to take the ingredients of your favorite recipe, put it in your bread maker and your favorite bread is ready in a minute or so.
Moreover, the recipes of the bread making process depend on the taste and diet advice. They also depend on the types of the bread. Several breads are prepared through different machines and bread maker recipes are handy in this regard. Several other recipes are prepared manually and break maker recipes are also available at that time.
Furthermore, bread recipes and their popularity also depend on the name and namesake taste. For example, French bread and Italian bread immediately reminds us the best bread recipes, for the names are attached with culinary tastes and no experience of the bread is required. Likewise, garlic bread, pumpkin break, carrot bread and such other breads immediately tell us about the ingredients that have been mixed, and they have also become specialty of bread makers. Such bread recipes are not naturally shifted from one generation to another generation. Their recipes have been specially discovered along with the ratio of their ingredients and then they have spread among the people. Same has happened with rye break, dark rye bread, west bend classic rye bread, dark pumpernickel rye bread, sourdough bread and several others.
Moreover, some very simple recipes that are quite common are available for you and you can have it among your bread maker recipes to use it when required.

2 tsps granulated yeast
1/2 cup rolled oats
3 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
2 TBSP olive oil
These are the ingredients and you are required to mix salts with the yeast, oats and flour in the breakmaker. Make a hole in the top for the yeast to put there and bake as usual. Your bread is ready.
Learn Homemade Pasta Sauce Recipes For Everyday Cooking
Do you think you need a pasta sauce recipe to make a great pasta dinner tonight? I promise you that if you learn three of the most commonly used (and so called) culinary mother sauces, you will be creating all kinds of dishes with a never-ending variety of options. You might even find a new favorite pasta sauce recipe to claim as your "signature." Even if you just want to get some great new ideas for everyday dinners, these three sauces provide endless opportunity.
Become a Master of the Marinara Sauce Recipe
Tomato Sauce is one of the five "Mother Sauces" in French culinary and the starting point for any marinara sauce recipe. There are two parts to this sauce that are made separately with their own procedure and then come together at the end: tomato concasse and a sauce "base". The sauce base can be meat, vegetables, broth, seafood - whatever you will be using to make YOUR marinara sauce recipe. Tomato concasse sounds fancy, but it simply means a mixture of tomatoes coarsely chopped. But - there is a trick to getting this mixture sans seeds and skins. Here's my quick technique for blanching tomatoes, which is the first step in making tomato sauce:
Core tomatoes on one end and score an "x" on the other side with a knife. This will be where the skin peels away during boiling.
Place tomatoes in a pot of boiling water.
When the skin at the "x" has peeled back, it is time to remove the tomato and shock it in an ice water bath to stop the cooking. This will vary by tomato due to size and ripeness.
Peel and seed the tomatoes. Peeling should be very easy. If it's not, the tomato didn't stay in the boiling water long enough.
Depending how you'd like your marinara sauce recipe to end up, you can puree the tomato concasse or keep it chunky.
Now, onto the sauce base. For a simple marinara sauce recipe, you will probably keep this vegetarian, adding vegetables if you prefer a chunky sauce or vegetable broth if you prefer a smoother sauce:
Saute chopped onions and garlic in a hot pan with a small amount of olive oil.
Add your tomato concasse (or puree). This is also where you'd add any other vegetables, like mushrooms or peppers, to your tomato sauce.
Add vegetable broth and reduce to almost dry.
Add tomato paste to thicken and color - heat through.
Add the seasonings of your choice. Basil and oregano are the common ones, but experiment to find what you like.
You've now got a great homemade pasta sauce recipe that you can make almost any night of the week. My guess is that this process would take you about 30-45 minutes to prepare. During this time, your pasta is cooking and your meal is ready in under an hour!
Make any White Sauce Recipe with One Procedure
When you think of a white sauce recipe, most often what you are imagining has its roots in the French mother sauce, bechamel. Bechamel forms the foundation for every white sauce recipe - including the favorite fettuccine Alfredo or even the classic macaroni and cheese. The key to making this velvety white sauce smooth is knowing how much milk to add. This is something that is best determined with your eyes - not a recipe!
You start by melting butter on the stove and then removing it from the heat. As you add some flour - a little at a time - you will be watching for the mixture to thicken up to the consistency of wall paper paste. When it does, you've got roux and it is time to return to the heat. Your goal here is to cook the proteins out of the flour. You will know this has happened when the majority of the roux has turned from yellow to white. During the process, you will smell a toasty smell as the proteins cook out. Now you can start adding milk. This is the most important step in making this sauce so take your time here. You will continue to add milk - a little at a time - until the sauce stops thickening. So here's the process:
Add some milk and stir.
Stop stirring and observe.
If sauce starts thickening back up over the heat, add more milk.
Continue steps 1-3 until the sauce doesn't thicken back up (in step 3).
I like a garlic flavor to my white sauce recipe so here's a trick for adding garlic, but not adding the lumps of chopped garlic. I simmer whole garlic cloves in the sauce for a bit and then remove them before serving. This will infuse a nice garlic flavor into my white sauce recipe. Finally, if you are making an Alfredo (or macaroni and cheese), this is where you would add your favorite cheese(s), stirring over heat as they melt.
A Buttery Garlic Sauce Recipe in Less then 30 Minutes
I saved my favorite garlic sauce recipe for last for a couple of reasons. First, it is a great sauce because you can make it rather quickly, using ingredients you most likely have on hand. However, this homemade pasta sauce recipe can be a little bit trickier than the first two, which makes some shy away from it. But, don't worry. With a few tips, you'll be making this one like a pro tonight!
Again, we start with one of the French culinary mother sauces - this time: beurre blanc, a saute of shallot (with garlic) and any liquid and mounted with cold butter. The trick to this sauce is to always keep the butter yellow. If your butter stays yellow, it means that the sauce has not broken. Here is my best tip for keeping the butter yellow in your garlic sauce recipe. This is one time, we don't start with a hot pan (as we normally would in saute method). The cold pan and cold butter hit the heat together. To melt the butter, without burning it:
Melt a little bit of butter.
Remove from hit and swirl around to melt more butter.
Return to heat for a couple of seconds to get the butter hot again.
Remove from heat and swirl around to melt more butter.
Repeat steps 1-3 until all the butter is melted.
When the butter is melted, you add your shallot and garlic and saute, but you don't want to brown anything here. Controlling the heat (so as not to separate the butter) is the most important secret for success when making this sauce. Keep the butter yellow - can't stress that enough! Once the shallots and garlic have cooked to become translucent in color, add a cold liquid (usually white wine) and then cold butter, cut in consistent squares. If the pan starts to get too hot (as evidenced by white specs floating to the top of the butter), you will remove it from heat and add more cold butter to cool the sauce quickly. You can always heat it back up again when you cool it - but you can't fix it once it has actually broken. When you are satisfied with the consistency and flavor of the garlic sauce recipe you've created, add salt and white pepper to taste and serve on your favorite pasta.
With a little practice, you will become very good at whipping up a great pasta sauce recipe every night based on what you have on hand in your house. For everyday cooking, a great sauce paired with pasta makes for a great and complete meal. With these techniques and your creativity, there is no stopping the great cook in you from emerging!
How to Find Famous Restaurant Recipes
A few years ago I was traveling with my husband in Colorado. We stopped at a restaurant for dinner and had the best Chicken Marsala I've ever eaten. It was so good that I ended up asking for the recipe, knowing that chances were great that I'd never make it back out to this restaurant again. Unfortunately the owner refused to share the recipe. A few weeks later we were back home and I found myself craving that chicken again. So off to the web I went in search of a recipe that would come as close as possible to that of this little Italian restaurant in Colorado. During this search I first came across so called copycat recipes. There are plenty of resources online to help you recreate almost any famous restaurant recipe.
The next question is of course how to go about finding those recipes. Here are my favorite ways to do it.
My first choice is usually to go to Google and type in the name of the dish and if applicable the name of the restaurant and then recipe. Sometimes it helps to also add copycat. An example of a search would be "Outback Steakhouse Coconut Shrimp Recipe" or Outback Steakhouse Coconut Shrimp Copycat Recipe". Both of those should give you plenty of recipes to try.
Another way to find these recipes is to head to your local bookstore or library. Volumes of recipes have been written on just the topic of recreating your favorite restaurant dishes. And it doesn't end there. I've come across books that explain how to make your own twinkies and the likes at home.
Last but not least there are recipe communities on the web that are a great source of information when you're trying to recreate your favorite dish. Places like CDKitchen and AllRecipes are great places to look. What I like about them is the fact that you can comment and ask questions about these recipes.
Once you have a few recipes that look good, get cooking and give them a try. Don't be too disappointed if the end result doesn't taste exactly like your favorite dish at first. Sometimes it takes a little bit of tweaking before you get it just right. Ask for suggestions or advice in your favorite cooking or recipe community and before you know it you'll have a recipe you'll love.
Cooking and Recipes Online
Whether you are looking for some new recipes or having some question concerning cooking or food, the Internet is the right place. There are an uncountable number of websites related to cooking, food and recipes. You find general cooking or recipes websites, you can also find websites specialized in a specific type of food or ingredient, and you still find the cooking forums.
To find these websites is very easy - you just have to do a search at Google, Yahoo, MSN or another search engine that you prefer. By typing in, for instance, 'Italian recipes' you will get a countless number of websites that provide Italian recipes. Not to forget that you can search for a specific type of cuisine ('Chinese', 'German', 'American', etc.) as well as for a specific ingredient ('chicken recipes', 'lobster recipes', 'rosemary recipes', etc.) or cooking method (for instance, 'grilling recipes'). You can see on the right side or on the bottom of the search engine page related terms that you can search for when you type in a more generic term, like 'shrimp recipes'. Another tip is to use quotation marks (" ") if you want to find a precise recipe or information (example: "Brazilian Coconut Shrimp"). Well, once you get the search results you just have to browse and look for the website that provides the recipes or information that you are looking for. And once you find a website that you like very much, don´t forget to bookmark it so you can always go back to it.
Another option is a directory, where you can browse through categories to find cooking and recipe websites. Usually recipes and food related websites can be found under the category Home Cooking - where you usually will find many sub-categories. The best known directory is the Dmoz.org.
Then we have the cooking forums. Cooking forum is a great place to get help with cooking or recipe questions, to discuss cooking methods and techniques, and to exchange food information, recipes, tips, and advice. The great advantage of forums is that they are made by real people with real experiences, interest, doubts, and feelings. You may check the forum Discusscooking.com. Another tip is the food site Grouprecipes.com - there you can create your own food page and organize your recipes, and of course discover new recipes and get in contact with many food and cooking lovers.
Well, as you can see the Internet is a wonderful resource to get recipes, food and cooking information. And the best of all is that it is for free - and if it is not, just search further that you will surely find information for free.
How Do You Find The Perfect Dinner Recipes? Where Do You Search For Your Food Ideas?
Let's talk about finding recipes, simple recipes. Have you ever tried searching for dinner recipes online? Well let me be the first to tell you, there are too many recipe websites online. There are recipe websites for products. There are sites for dinner menus. There are sites for food manufacturers. There are sites for individual ingredients. There are even websites for multiple ethnicities. In fact there are so many recipe sites out there that there are actually recipe websites for recipe websites. Huh? Yep, it's true there are recipe websites that let you search for recipes, let's say "Beef lo Mein" for easy reference. You go to one of these sites, type in "Beef lo Mein" and you will get recipes from all over the web from different websites for "Beef lo Mein". It is has a serious neat factor to it. The only real benefit that I can see for using a site like Recipe-Finder.com (Note the hyphenated title if you want to navigate to it) is to get a quick pick for a recipe. These sites are great if you need a recipe fast, especially in a small scale kitchen environment.
Sometimes the reason you navigate to a cooking website is not always for the recipe. Sometimes you navigate there for food ideas, or needed information before you decide to roll up your sleeves, crank the heat up, and throw down your sauté pan.
Here's an example of what I mean, maybe you are looking for vegan or vegetarian food ideas. Wouldn't like to know more about dietary concerns before you decide to jump in with both feet and get cooking?
If you search the internet for recipe website lists, it is the same, there are lists of lists. There are actually hundreds of links for recipe websites on some of these lists. How do you find the recipe you are looking for and sites you want to use?
What I realized was this; the bottom line is there is no perfect golden list of recipe websites. I want a list of ingredient rich and information rich websites. Currently, there only recipe website lists of lists, a sea of searchable sites, and recipe websites that search for recipes on other websites. So, as you have probably inferred by now, I have been bookmarking every site that I find is useful. It is small list now, and may change a bit in the future. I have developed my list based on usefulness and content. My advice for you is to do the same.
Get creative with your bookmarking [Shortcut on pc is to hold down ctrl+d], name your bookmark folder your "recipe-box". Divide your "recipe-box" folder into sub folders named "Asian", or "nuts", or "vegetables". Use your computer to solve your problem. The next time one of your friends is having trouble looking for dinner menu ideas, save them some time and email them your book mark list. You will be their hero.

Online Recipes - How to Search for and Find Reliable Recipes
My hobby is cooking. I didn't realize it until I was showing a friend of mine how to prepare and cook a Moroccan Chicken Pie that it hit me. I really enjoy cooking. I will spend days in the kitchen making Indian or Persian or Moroccan dishes and invite my friends to a feast. My husband thinks I'm crazy, my friends think I'm an amazing cook, and I have the best time introducing my friends to new cuisines.
I own 52 cookbooks, and depending on what I'm cooking they are always my first source for recipes and information, especially when cooking ethnic dishes. I used to do online searches, looking for recipes and often I was left totally confused with what I found. There are all sorts of sites that are dedicated to recipes. Some of the larger sites have the ability for members to leave ratings and comments. These types of sites have become very popular over the past few years. There are even forums dedicated to food talk that include links to recipes and member comments.
Here's where the problems arise. Do a simple online search for "Dilled Green Beans". You will see over 270,000 results. These recipes are on all types of cooking sites from large established recipe sites to individual blogs. How to choose? How do you want to invest your time, energy and money? Will you choose the recipe that calls for 4 lbs. of green beans, 16 heads fresh dill, 4 cups vinegar, 9 cloves of garlic or the one that calls for 2 lbs. of green beans, 4 cups vinegar (interesting as this is the same amount of vinegar used for double the amount of green beans in the other recipe), 2 cloves of garlic and 4 heads of dill? (For half the amount of beans this recipe should call for 8 heads of dill and at least 4 cloves of garlic.) Here's another question for you - exactly what are these Dilled Green Beans supposed to taste like? Where can you find a reliable recipe?
Red Velvet Cake is another online recipe search disaster waiting to happen. There are over 750,000 Google results for a search of "Red Velvet Cake Recipe". Now, take a close look at these recipes. You will see Red Velvet Cake recipes that include in their ingredients 2 heaping teaspoons of cocoa to recipes that call for no cocoa at all. The reality is that Red Velvet Cake is, and has always been, a chocolate cake. How can you bake a chocolate cake without using cocoa? Again, how do you decide which recipe to expend your time, energy and money on?
I stay far away from food sites that offer member comments and reviews as some of the reviews are of no help, and actually add to confusion. A few years ago I did an online recipe search for Turkey Mulligatawny Soup. I landed on a well revered food forum. This site also allows for member comments. I was shocked to see some of the comments made about this recipe. People who didn't have the spices called for in the recipe chose to cook the soup leaving them out. Turkey Mulligatawny Soup is a curry-flavored soup. If you leave out the curry and garam masala spices you have no curry flavor. You have no idea how the recipe is supposed to taste. No wonder they didn't like the result.
This food site also reviews a cookbook every month. Some of the members prepare recipes from the cookbooks, changing ingredients, or again, leaving them out altogether, and then declare their efforts unsuccessful. This is not helpful information, and certainly is unfair to a cookbook author.
There is a simple way to ensure that you're going to get a good result when searching for a recipe online. Focus on food sites that use recipes that have come directly from cook books, and make sure the site has given a link, or mentioned the cookbook, or chef, where the recipe originated. The next thing to look for is a site where the recipes have actually been prepared. There are a lot of online food sites that supply recipes, but no indication that they have actually prepared the dish. A valuable online food site will have actually prepared the recipe and will offer helpful cooking tips directly related to the recipe.
